CambridgeSoft Raises $2 Million in Second Round of Venture Capital – Cambridge, MA

CambridgeSoft, a provider of software for the life sciences industry, has raised $2 million in its second round of venture capital from Edison Venture Fund. The proceeds are being used by CambridgeSoft to repurchase stock from the company’s founders. CambridgeSoft supplies desktop software, scientific databases and consulting services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemical industries.
